Dawson ruled out for up to two months
Michael Dawson has an Achilles injury which could reportedly rule him out for two months.
There has been no official confirmation of how long the defender expects to be out for, but the injury is understood to be a long-term one.
William Gallas is also injured which leaves Spurs weak at the back.
Van Der Vaart out for 6 weeks
VDV will be seeing a lot of her in the next 6 weeks
The Holland international suffered the injury in his left leg in last weekend’s 5-1 home defeat by Manchester City.
That means Van der Vaart will at least be unavailable for Premier League games against Wolves, Liverpool, Wigan and the north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
Although we should never be happy at another man’s injury, but this means he will not score against Arsenal this year. As he did score every time they played.

Keane on the move yet again?
Tottenham’s Robbie Keane is set for a move to the MLS to join Thierry Henry, David Beckam and other stars.
He looks set to participate in the MLS by moving to Los Angelos to LA Galaxy.
LA Galaxy are most famous for their former Manchester United, Real Madrid and England star David Beckham.
The Irish striker, 31, has agreed a two-year contract worth £6million and could be on his way across the Atlantic next week.
If Keane goes to the USA, it would cap another interesting career move for a man who has also played for Wolves, Inter Milan, Coventry and Leeds and Celtic and whose total transfer fees are approaching £80m.
He hasn’t had a lot of good luck in recent years at Tottenham, Liverpool and also West Ham and maybe playing in the Major League Soccer with a slower pace will benefit the forward.

Benayoun to Spurs+cash for Modric?

Chelsea are believed to be prepared to offer Yossi Benayoun to Tottenham Hotspur as a part of a potential deal to land Luka Modric.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the Croatian midfielder all summer after Spurs failed to qualify for the Champions League like they did the season before.
Tottenham have so far been resolute in their stance, insisting that Modric is not for sale at any price.
But Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart last night insisted they are wasting their time. He said: “I’m really happy Luka is going to stay because he is such an important player for us. He added: “Every day we asked him to stay one more year, saying: ‘We have a great season and then you can go’. Riots could effect Premier League Kick-off date
Tottenham has closed one of its stadium ticket offices after it was damaged in the rioting that swept an area of north London.
Tottenham opens the season at White Hart Lane on Saturday against Everton.
Tottenham must wait to hear if the club’s Premier League kick-off at home to Everton on Saturday will be postponed after riots in the area.White Hart Lane is less than a mile from Tottenham Police Station, where around 300 people gathered from 5.30pm on Saturday to protest over the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan. Mark Duggan was killed by the police after thay shot him. Riots started after they heard of how the police are treating people.
I really hope that the riots do stop, cause London doesn’t deserve whats happening. And i also would’nt like the Premier League to kick off later than when its scedueled

As we all know, the spurs Maestro Luka Modric has been the talking point of the summer for both Chelsea and Tottenham. And it is reported that he is on his way to Stamford Bridge for a fee of 30 Million Pounds.

£20 million to land Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios to Stoke.
Redknapp and Pulis
Stoke City are willing to sign Crouch and Palacios for Big Money from Spurs.
Crouch is thought to be seeking around £70,000-a-week to join Stoke, which is more than the Stoke’s current top earner is paid, while Palacios is also looking for a considirable salary.
Palacious has only made 18 appereances with Tottenham last season in the Barclays Premier League, and Peter Crouch only scoring 4 in the same competition. So Harry Rednkanpp is willing to exchange them with cash.
Redknapp has been told that he must sell before he can buy this summer. Harry is looking for a striker to net them more goals, as Defoe only scored a couple of goals last season and was injured for a long time. Pavlyuchenko has had a good season last year. With Crouch may be leaving, Redknapp tops his list with a striker.
If Palacious and Crouch do move to the Potters, it would mean that Stoke have signed 3 players this summer from Tottenham, after signing Woodgate.
City to swap Adebayor for Lennon
Is Lennon going to sit back and leave his future in Redknapps hands?
Manchester City are trying to swap Adebayor for Lennon. City want Lennon, and want to get rid of Adebayor, as they have previous problems with him. So they may swap Adebayor and add cash to get the England internationl.
Roberto Mancini is interested in a winger and Lennon may be the perfect option. Mancini also wants Lennon because he lost out on Samir Nasri from Arsenal.
It is said that Adebayor wants to join Real Madrid after playing for them for 6 months, but Mourinho is trying to distance themselves from the striker, as they have enough options next seasons with Higuain, Benzema, Ronaldo upfront.
Harry Redknapp was and still is interested in the Togolian striker, as he tried to sign him a few times, so a deal to get Adebayor and some cash, may leave both ends happy.
In my view i think City do not need Lennon as Aguero can play as a winger, and Adam Johnson is a young British talent that will rise if he got the chance. Tottenham do need Lennnon, but they also need Adebayor, so they could have a striker that is an airial threat and have talented crossers on either wings (Bale, Lennon) but Redknapp may need to sacrifice and sell Lennon to get the striker he wants.
