Machester United players hit with injuries

Jones limping off

Phil Jones could be out for up to 6 weeks whilst Young is expected to be out for 3 weeks.

Ferdinand is set to only miss the next match but with United already having loads of injuries this could lead to a problem for Ferguson.

Kieron Dyer out for the season

Dyer has not played a competitive game for Rangers since the opening day of the season when he was carried off on a stretcher after injuring the foot on his debut against Bolton.

He was making good progress and played  during a reserve game with Tottenham this week, however, and looks likely to be out for several weeks.

QPR say he might not play until the end of the season.

David Bentley – Injured

Six months without football...

David Bentley could be out for 6 months after knee surgery cut short his loan to West Ham.

The Tottenham winger has returned to Tottenham to begin his rehabilitation.

The hammers are devastated by this news and so is David Bentley, we wish him a speedy recovery and all the luck.

Arjen Robben undergoes surgery

Injured... Again.

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben, who has only just returned from a five-week injury lay-off, underwent groin surgery on Friday and will be out for 10 days.

He ofcourse, dropped out of the Netherlands squad and will not participate in the EURO 2012 Qualifier.

Sneijder misses Moscow trip

The Netherlands international picked up a muscular problem in the build-up to this weekend’s Serie A match against Bologna and was unable to feature in the 3-1 win.

Wesley Sneijder will miss the upcoming match in the Champions League away against CSKA Moscow

Fergie : Rooney out for a few weeks

The striker, 25, missed United’s 1-1 draw at Stoke with a hamstring problem.

And boss Fergie said: “Rooney’s is not a serious hamstring injury but it’s enough to keep him out of today’s match.

“I think it maybe a few weeks.”

Dawson ruled out for up to two months

Michael Dawson has an Achilles injury which could reportedly rule him out for two months.

There has been no official confirmation of how long the defender expects to be out for, but the injury is understood to be a long-term one.

William Gallas is also injured which leaves Spurs weak at the back.

Van Der Vaart out for 6 weeks

VDV will be seeing a lot of her in the next 6 weeks

The Holland international suffered the injury in his left leg in last weekend’s 5-1 home defeat by Manchester City.

That means Van der Vaart will at least be unavailable for Premier League games against Wolves, Liverpool, Wigan and the north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

Although we should never be happy at another man’s injury, but this means he will not score against Arsenal this year. As he did score every time they played.
